Description§
Eld Vintic is the old language of Vintas and the classical poetic tradition associated with it, treated much as ancient Greek or Latin poetry would be. Calanthis is the Eld Vintic name for the lions, and the old Alveron kings of Vint spoke Eld Vintic and wrote in its style. A caesura, the name of Kvothe's sword, is the break in a line of Eld Vintic poetry.
